Job Title: Agronomist

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Daily reporting on the crops, agronomic activities.
• Provide agronomic advisory on the farming of sesame and other crops.
• Encourage the use of best agronomic practices to increase yield.
• Visit fields to collect and gather information on crops, soil, plant, diseases, and agronomic practices.
• Collaborate with grower and certification agency to adhere to organic farming.
• Record maintenance on farming on but not limited to seeds, bio fertilizers and other agriculture inputs.
• Communicate with stakeholders through field status reports.
• Participate in the knowledge building and pro community’s activities.
• Conduct farm or crop survey.
• Responsible for monitoring of seeding, weeding, irrigation, pest and disease, harvesting and other agronomic activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture
• Minimum of 4 years of experience
