Job Title: Tender Specialist
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
The tender specialist Responsibilities include; Monitors the tender submission process for formatting, Carry out market research and cost Training and capacity building projects, Write and Design Methodologies for capacity building, training and Auditing, completeness, consistency, and compliance, assists in the management of data related to the tendering process etc.
Prepares tenders, Construction, Capacity Building and Training company profile and standardized tender templates and documentation for submission of consultancy projects.
Design methodology, work plan, approach and work plan for capacity building and training.
Must be able to use Corel draw for basic designs such as Letter head, Cover page and editing of documents and company profiles
Carrying out market research, evaluate and Cost training and capacity building Projects according to list of deliverables, using Excel sheets.
Prepare presentations from time to time using PowerPoint and defend proposals for Training Projects
Reply to correspondence, letters for capacity building projects using Microsoft Word
Maintains a list of qualified vendors, especially as related to planned tenders
Compilation of various inputs to create a more complete tender proposal
Monitoring deadlines of tender submissions
Monitors the tender submission process for formatting, completeness, consistency, and compliance to capacity building templates
Liaises with the team to prompt them on an ongoing basis with respect to Tender requirements and Tender status
Assists in preparation and/or review of Tender Documentation Packages comprising of
Instructions to Bidders, Contract Form, General Terms Conditions, Bid Forms, etc.
Assemble and maintain internal Procurement documentation relating to the tendering process, including recording management approval relating to tendering and contracting actions.
Maintains tender files and arranges their archiving upon Tender completion
Prepares Tenders status reports and expected timelines on a regular basis and when requested.
Assists with the development of procurement software applications for the Project Implementation Team.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification with Minimum of 3 years work experience.
