We are recruiting to fill the position below: 

Job Title: Accountant

Job Description

• Capturing all the financial transactions of the business through the company's accounting system
• Reconciling bank transactions through bank reconciliation statements
• Preparing monthly management accounts and reports or any other financial reports as may be required
• Preparing periodic tax returns and providing tax planning services with reference to current legislation
• Administering payrolls
• Providing relevant information to the management on how to control company's expenses
• Preparing and presenting budget reports and cash flow
• Preparing business plans and analysing accounts projections and posting
• Examining expenses submitted by employees
• Managing accounts receivable.

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc in Accounting, Economics or other related field
• Working knowledge of Sage Accounting system or any similar Accounting System is a must
• 5-7 years experience in a structured accounting environment
• Accounting experience in a freight forwarding company environment will be an advantage.
• ICAN Qualification or advanced stage success in relevant levels in ICAN examinations will be a clear advantage
• Good knowledge of double-entry principles.
• Good communication skills.
• Gender: Female.
• Age: 35 and above.
