Job Title: Project Planner and Control Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• Assistance with creating a baseline contract schedule that takes into account every facet of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. The baseline schedule ought to have a critical path, be fully logic linked, and be loaded with the appropriate resources.
• Oversee the contractors' planning team as they load and level resources, create S-curves, manpower histograms, etc.
• Interact with construction supervisors regarding daily operations at the job site or office by giving pertinent information, such as schedules for the project management team for the next two weeks.
• Assist the project manager/engineer, as well as the construction team, in analyzing and evaluating how different construction methods and techniques affect the timeline for the entire project.
• Make use of your skills and knowledge to create and keep up with reports.
• Demonstrate exceptional proficiency with Excel and its advanced features, such as functions and pivot tables.
• Display a depth of knowledge in both project controls and action tracking.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Project and the Primavera P6 planning tool is required.
• Must have a thorough understanding of construction methods and procedures.
• Ability to work across international/cultural boundaries.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND / B.Eng qualification with 2 - 4 years work experience.
