We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Poultry Supervisor

Location: Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the poultry pens and its team.
• He/she will supervise and coordinates activities of workers engaged in raising poultry, and maintaining facilities on the poultry farm.
• Also, they're tasked with providing these animals with food, water and shelter while ensuring that they remain healthy, attain the desired weight for production and free from disease.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow the daily operations calendar strictly.
• Administer all medications and vaccinations on the prescribed dates.
• Validate all DOC for health status and expected count from the vendor before movement to the pens
• Escalate all problems to the Poultry coordinator/manager immediately.
• Follow the prescribed feeding formula to the letter.
• Feed hourly and ensure all birds are properly fed.
• Report data on weight, mortality, and inventory daily.
• Coordinate Poultry attendants to carry out assigned tasks.
• Coordinate harvesting operations for the pen
• Ensure hygiene of the pen before, during, and after stocking
• Any other duties assigned by the Poultry Manager.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of BSc / HND qualification.
• Experienced in Poultry farming as a Poultry Supervisor for at least 2 years
• Must have handled at least 10,000 birds
• Must have handled broilers
• Must be able to use of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
• Must have track record of less than 5% mortality rate
• Must be available to resume immediately.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
