Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The position objective of a Restaurant Manager is to supervise the various activities that takes place on the food production and sales floor to ensure it meets operational standards.
  • The duties will include undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels and developing viable business strategies for the Restaurant.
  • The job requires a high level of customer interaction and employee coordination; hence, the manager should have impeccable customer service skills, excellent leadership abilities and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer complaints and resolve customers concerns in a professional manner.
  • Analyze existing business strategies and practices and develop new strategies for sustaining competitive advantage to increase profitability.
  • Establish efficient workflow processes, monitored daily productivity, and implemented modifications to improve the overall effectiveness of personnel activities.
  • Develop marketing strategies for more market penetration and increased profitability.
  • Develop operational budget and ensured that all production cost stays within the budget.
  • Conduct efficiency audit to ensure consistent improvement and overall customer satisfaction and increased profitability.
  • Ensured the minimization of costs and prevention of wastages.
  • Ensure the Restaurant complies with health and safety regulations and liaise with government agencies.
  • The Ideal candidate must be resident in Asaba, Delta State.

Requirements
The candidate should possess the following:

  • Minimum educational qualification (HND / B.Sc / M.Sc)
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working in a Restaurant environment with a minimum of two years in leadership capacity.
  • Must possess NYSC certificate or exemption letter
  • Must be within the age of 28 to 40 at the time of application
  • Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate and able to work using Microsoft packages.
  • Possesses high numerical reasoning abilities
  • Proven work experience in related position is an added advantage.
