At Rural Farmers Hub, our vision is to create innovation and access to every farmer in Africa. We accomplish this by developing and distributing precision management solutions for crop health & soil quality that benefits small farmers, plantations, and out-growers. In May 2022, we closed our pre-seed round. We work with reputable organisations in Nigeria like GIZ, Mercy Corps, Save the Children, IFDC, Sasakawa SG2000, World Bank, Launch Academy, Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), Shell Foundation, Airbus BizLab, among others. We are positively prospecting to include brands like Olam, Dantata Foods, and others to the list.

Founders Factory Africa is a venture builder, accelerator, and investor, backing pan-African early-stage founders, to deliver local solutions to local challenges. Its unique model combines capital investment with hands-on support to early-stage entrepreneurs to de-risk investments and reap outsized returns. It has a portfolio of over 50 ventures across 10 countries in East, West, and Southern Africa.

Job Title: Mobile Developer

The Role

• We are looking for a Mobile Developer to join the Software/Tech Team, working closely with the Designers and the Chief Technology Officer to drive high-growth of the business in Nigeria and into multiple geographies.
• S/he will play a vital role in converting UI/UX into functional, efficient, and beautiful apps to the visual delight of our users, which are all important to attract and retain them for sustainable growth.
• S/he will make apps that users love. If you are that person, we have reserved a seat for you.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire mobile application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Develop fully functional mobile applications; code must be well-written and clean with adequate documentation
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Research & liaise with product development team to plan new features and app updates
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends.

Requirements

• Flutter mobile app developer
• Minimum of 1 years relevant work experience, experience in building mobile apps with GIS/maps capability preferable
• Decent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to interpret and implement system analysis and designs.
• Experience working in a start-up or high growth business would be preferable.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Creative problem solving & ability to handle high levels of pressure.
• Strong teamwork & cross collaboration capabilities.

Benefits

• Starting salary is N2,000,000 to N5,000,000 gross per annum, inclusive of pension and other statutory contributions.

Benefits

• Starting salary is N2,000,000 to N3,000,000 gross per annum, inclusive of pension and other statutory contributions.
