Job Title: Math Tutor

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time
Working hours: Once in a week

Job Brief

• The Math tutor will provide one-on-one or a small group lessons to students in primary school.
• The Math tutor will math tutor also be able to teach problem solving, geography, science and critical thinking.

Responsiblities

• Assess student's current math skills
• Discuss the trouble area the student is having, either with a specific lesson or understanding a particular math concept
• Develop lesson plans that enable the student to better grasp the math concept
• Help students work through their homework and study for exams
• Write progress reports for parents and students

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics or equivalent.
• 1 - 2 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a Maths Teacher.
• Organized, flexible disposition.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Remuneration
N7,500 Daily.
