We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Admin / Social Worker

Location: Igando, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Details

  • An Orphanage in Igando, Lagos currently in need of a kind, honest and compassionate Admin/Social worker to join the team in providing the very best care to our service users.

Job Description
The Job description includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Case management and support services for the Orphanage
  • Care coordination and monitoring of the activities of the caregivers
  • Manage supplies stock and place orders for the Orphanage
  • Prepare regular reports on expenses and daily activities in the Orphanage
  • Maintain and update databases for the Orphanage
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential documents for the Orphanage
  • Answer queries from employees and clients.
  • Update orphanage policies as needed
  • Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails, and packages)
  • Supervising all other support workers in the Orphanage.
  • Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the orphanage.

Requirements / Skills

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 2 - 4 years work experience.
  • The preferred candidate should have had Proven work experience as an Administrative Officer, Administrator, or similar role, Solid knowledge of office procedures, Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word), Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude, Excellent written and verbal communication skills and Attention to detail.
  • Work experience in an NGO will be an added advantage.
