Job Description

• We are looking for an intelligent content specialist to guide and develop the content creation process for our brand.
• As a content specialist, you will be required to research, develop and implement content strategy tailored to meet the demands of our target audience, manage the content creation, publishing process, and monitor audience and content metrics.
• To guarantee success as a content specialist, you should show a keen eye for details, be highly proactive and creative, be able to develop original well researched content and content ideas including but not limited to articles, e-books, social media posts as well as video content.
• A skilled content specialist should also be an expert storyteller, experience in digital publishing, traffic and leads generating. Please share samples of your work ((portfolio or links to published articles) along with your application.

Responsibilities

• Research content and audience/consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant and adds value
• Creating content for a variety of platforms including blogs, websites, and social media.
• Be able to tell compelling stories through written and visual content
• Be able to present, interview and engage thought leaders, our audience as well as the general public at any given time.
• Develop real estate and lifestyle content for the brand and its social media platform.
• Managing content calendars and ensuring that the content remains consistent across all platforms.
• Coordinating with other members to ensure the timely delivery of assignments
• Ensuring that SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented.
• Proofread and edit articles
• Enrich, edit and proofread marketing copies for the brand
• Create web pages
• Utilise industry best practices and familiarity with the organisation’s mission to inspire ideas and content
• Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as magazine, blog, websites, email marketing, product descriptions, and videos
• Detects, curates, and compiles real estate related breaking news content
• Developing content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals
• Tracking consumer and content analytics and generating reports and presentations
• Keeping up to date with content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Literature, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or similar, or relevant work experience in a related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar
• A portfolio of published work.
• Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, and other tools like Canva, Hubspot, Trello and Excel
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
• Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media and blogs.
• Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SMO, Email marketing, and PPC.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and copywriting skills.
• The ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.
• Possess critical-thinking skills, storytelling and detail oriented.
• Real estate experience and data analytics are not mandatory is an added advantage.

Salary
N40,000 - N60,000 monthly.
