Job Title: Mathematics Tutor / Client Service Officer

Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

Administrative/ Client Service:

• To organise, and occasionally accompany, the reporting officer to meetings, take minutes and follow up actions as an administrative.
• To assist in the logistics of managing all existing clientele through regular communication with key contacts and helping to answer any queries via email and telephone.
• To assist in updating the company’s databases with new client information as well as helping to manage their account and records.
• Assist with general administrative duties as assigned at the time.

Marketing:

• To collaborate and deliver creative marketing initiatives to include face-to-face interaction (out-of-office marketing) with potential clients in other to make them aware of services as well as developing marketing materials and uploading to social media.
• To ensure that website and other social media information is current and appealing to existing and potential clients, supporting the team to ensure we communicate well with differing audiences.
• To maintain our newsletter database and to work alongside other team members to ensure the regular sending of newsletters.
• To market the company’s services to increase clientele.

Tutor: Mathematics:

• To tutor/prepare clients for SAT, GRE, GMAT and other international exams that are mathematics related
• To tutor /prepare clients on local exams or individual subjects that are mathematics related.
• Create lesson plans to effectively incorporate the allocated duration of each lesson
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to engender valuable student experience
• Write detailed progress and comprehensive reports of the task.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Mathematics or related course.
• Applicant should have knowledge or experience in IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, SAT, GRE, and GMAT.
• Prior experience as a Mathematics teacher/ tutor
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc.
• Proficient in Google Office Suite Drive – Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.

Required Competencies:

• Should have excellent written and speaking communication skills
• Should be patient enough to follow through with students who are slow in learning and lack great retention abilities
• Ability to work effectively and cordially within a team with other members
• Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to make quick and smart decisions under pressure.

Salary Range
N50,000 - N100,000 / month.
