Job Title: Company Driver

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The company driver will assist the company with all transport-related duties from office to clients and to operational sites.
• He must have a valid Driver’s License and must be ready to resume immediately.

Job Duties

• Assisting with the loading and offloading of company products, and materials
• Dispatching and collecting various packages on behalf of the company
• Ensure that addresses and other transportation details are correct before undertaking any pick-up or drop-off duties
• To help increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients depend on us for their transportation needs
• Maintaining a travel log to record work hours, travel-time and locations traveled
• To ensure vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing
• To report any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to Admin Department
• Stay up to date on road conditions and listen to traffic and weather report to plan each route
• To ensure regular cleaning and schedule regular vehicle service / maintenance appointments and report any issues.
• To use navigation apps to determine the best route and ensure all transportation duties are carried out in a timely manner
• Drive responsibly to ensure the safety of company staffs, customers, goods, and properties while driving.

Job Requirements

• First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) with minimum of 2 years’ experience as a driver
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record with no traffic violations
• Must be aware of Lagos routes and traffic rules
• Working days are Mondays - Saturday.

Required Skills:

• Good communications
• Polite and professional disposition
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
• Ability to perform routine checks on the company vehicle
• Strong ability to remain calm during rush hour or in stressful driving situations.

What's on Offer

• Salary Range: N60,000 - N80,000 Monthly
• Other benefits like HMO, leave allowance and non-accident bonus are available.
