Managing Director / CEO at a Leading Green Energy Company

A leading Green Energy company that is currently setting the pace in treatment and re-cycling of a key petroleum product, is seeking the services of an experienced professional to fill the position below:

Job Title: Managing Director / CEO

Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full execution of the strategy and plans of the company to ensure that the company sustainably thrives and provides robust returns to the shareholders.
• Provide short, medium, and long-term plans for the company that will enable it to continuously improve and thrive.
• Provide appropriate executive leadership for the company.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, guidelines, and processes that enable the company to run efficiently and effectively.
• Lead the company to obtain Pioneer Tax Waiver status from the Government.
• Ensure appropriate cost management, drive cost effectiveness and profitability.
• Lead regular business performance reviews and implementation of corrective actions to ensure achievement of key plans/targets in production, revenues, people capability, HSSE, projects etc.
• Drive the development and diversification of the products/markets of the company including export markets.
• Enable the company to become listed in the Nigeria Stock Exchange and/or other appropriate international stock exchanges.

Qualifications
The successful applicant will be expected to meet the following minimum requirement:

• As a minimum Second class upper Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Chemistry and Allied subjects with at least 10 years work experience in the petroleum downstream, especially the lubricant sector.
• A Master's Degree in Business Administration or Finance will be an added advantage.
