L&Z Integrated Farms Nigeria Limited incorporated in Nigeria on November 11, 2008, is located in Kano State, as an integrated dairy producer and processor that produce variant of Yoghurts, Fresh milk, Fura Da Nono, Greek Yoghurts, Satchet Yoghurt and Ice cream. L&Z has established a strong brand in the Nigerian dairy sector; standing out as an indigenous player with good quality dairy products and significant local presence across all six (6) geopolitical zones in Nigeria.

The Farm owns a large herd of cows (a cross breed of Frisian and local cows - Sokoto Gudali), which produces an average yield of 7- 8 litres per cow/day in contrast to 0.69 litres per cow/day from the indigenous breed. Similarly, the Company is an indigenous market leader in the production and processing of drinking yoghurt and sources 90% of its raw milk from local pastoralists across the milk collection centres strategically located in Kano State. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Location: Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
Sales Management:

  • Overall sales responsibility of the Region.
  • Achieve month-wise sales objectives for the entire product range.

Distribution Management:

  • Define and communicate coverage norms and ensure implementation within these guidelines.
  • Evaluation, reporting: Study retail audit data, on market share and distribution trends, develop innovative plans in consultations with ASM/ Marketing and implement the same.

Distributor Management:

  • Monitor constantly the sales and inventories of major distributors and take corrective actions where required, taking appropriate measures to activate and retain distributors.
  • Ensure timely service to the distributors, in the areas of delivery of stocks, adjustment of credit notes, etc.
  • Review client structure periodically and define appropriate norms to assess the contribution to business service rendered, the area covered, financial condition, etc., and take appropriate corrective actions.

Forecasting and Planning:

  • Set targets for all territories based on historical trends and future inputs for the full year and month wise.
  • To prepare rolling forecasts for the next three months for all SKUs, and communicate them appropriately to the Head Office. 'Actively participate and contribute to the quarterly meeting to achieve desired objectives.
  • Suggest and plan innovative solutions to achieve the expected business growth.

People:

  • Plan and initiate timely trainingof all sales personnel in the region ensuring complete manning.
  • Ensure that all new people who join the region are inducted well and per a well-defined system.
  • Maintain open communication with managers, Staff to succeed in building and maintaining enthusiasm and a positive

Credit Control:

  • To ensure control of debts both in DTR as well as key accounts.
  • Ensure the credit is as per the norms of the company.

Reporting:

  • To ensure timely and accurate reporting from the region, meet all reporting schedules to HO.
  • To monitor results obtained on a regular basis.
  • Determine deviations from plans, if any, and institute corrective actions as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
  • 5 - 15 years work experience.
