It's customers include hotels, eateries, fast food, pop-shop resellers, and individual bulk buyers. At the heart of Afobec is a grassroots movement for empowerment to better the health and life of people in society.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Loader

Locations: Ubahadara, Nempi, Oru West LGA, Imo
Employment Type: Full-time (In person)

Reporting to: Production Supervisor
Working Week: Monday to Saturday - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Job Purpose

• The Loader will be responsible for loading the water bagged by the baggers to the required destination. You will work hand in hand with the delivery driver during operations to ensure customers are happy about their orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load bagged water into customers' vehicles or delivery vans on the work premises
• Offload bagged water at customer’s location (This could be shops, on the road, at their houses, etc)
• Work with the delivery drivers to load and offload water during delivery
• Serve as a check to delivery drivers to watch against fraud and theft during field delivery.
• Monitor and track leaked water during delivery and record it for the report to the machine operator and production supervisor
• Replace leaked water for customers.
• Keep records of delivery activities daily and create reports for submission to the production manager.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent in any discipline.
• Ideally, 2- 5 years of experience working as a Loader with a reputable pure water company.

Skills Required:

• Sound knowledge of water bags, machines, and delivery routes
• Ability to work well independently and without supervision
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

Job Expectation
We expect that, for this role, you should be:

• Able to load 500 - 800 Bags per day.
• Adhere to quality standards consistently without fail.
• Minimal leakage during loading
• Working Condition: This job requires a lot of standing and lifting and therefore is the best fit for someone who is physically fit and healthy.
