• The University Governing Council has declared the post of Registrar vacant with effect from 8th December, 2022. In accordance with the provisions of the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero, Law 2006, the position of the Registrar is hereby advertised for suitably qualified persons to apply. 

Job Summary

• The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day administrative work of the University.
• The Registrar is by the virtue of that office the Secretary to the Council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Applicant must possess good honours Degree not below Second Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline obtained from a recognized University and must have not less than fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience preferably in a University or comparable institution.
• The applicant must not be below the rank of Deputy Registrar or cognate senior management position and has served for at least five (5) years in that capacity.
• He/She must also be Information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliant.
• He/She must command respect and be able to carry colleagues along.
• Possession of higher Degree(s) would be an added advantage.

Conditions of Service

• The remuneration and other conditions of service are as may be determined from time to time by the Governing Council.
• The successful applicant shall hold office for five (5) years as determined by the Council.
• The applicant shall not be more than fifty-five (55) years at the time of application.
