We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cargo Officer

Location: Lagos
Department: Cargo Operations

Job Summary / Objective

• Do you live in Lekki or its environs?
• Do you have what it takes to join the winning team?
• The staff will be responsible for shipment assessment and raising of shipment assessment advice (light parcels, bulky shipments, household items and charters etc) 

Key Performance Indicator:

• Detailed waybill description.
• Customer service experience.
• Speed in Job execution.
• Correct description and packaging types and materials of item 4
• Clear correct and complete marking and tagging.
• Transfer of booked items to warehouse.
• Accurate inventory of all items sent to warehouse( ensure warehouse officer signs)
• Marking of fragile, hazardous and special shipment
• Accident free work environment to avoid loss time injury

Academic Requirements

• HND / B.Sc in any  discipline with a minimum of 2nd class honours.
• MUST have completed NYSC programme.

Technical Core Skills:

• 100% inspection of items to be contracted on waybill
• Properly identify, classify, mark, label and document shipment.
• Ascertain and advice the customer on the appropriate packaging required
• Correct price allocation of waybill types
• Raise payment advice for the customer to make payment
• Ensure proper / detailed description of items on the assessment advice or where not practicable use “as per attached list”. A copy of such list should accompany the waybill.
• Tagging and marking of waybills
