Job Description

• As a Still and Motion Graphics Designer/ Video Editor, you will be responsible for producing and editing high-quality graphic designs and motion graphics for client videos, websites, social media, and a vast array of other media.
• You will create video content, graphics, and animation for handheld electronic devices, web programs, smartphones, and mobile platforms, including apps.

Responsibilities

• Create still graphics, motion graphics and other video content with high visual impact for clients and other projects based on requirements
• Develop, enforce and maintain each company's brand architecture in all materials be it electronically or in print and ensure an adaptive guide for third parties.
• Create complex typography, photography, graphics, animation and live video content for a diverse array of new media, such as social media, websites, mobile apps, television etc.
• Work to a brief, developing and pitching creative ideas and concepts, and choosing the appropriate media and style to meet objectives
• Establish priorities while handling multiple projects and communicate accurate time estimates for each part of the process
• Amend designs and overall editing for quality control after feedback,
• Secure appropriate rights, licenses, and clearances for video usage, image usage, and soundtrack usage to protect from copyright infringement
• Ensuring proper organization and safekeeping of designs, video footage and logs and their backups
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly video and design programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other programs from the Adobe Creative Suite to ensure that the company remains on the cutting edge
• All-around assistance with post-production activities
• Coordinating with fellow team members and contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification with minimum of 2 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a motion graphics designer as well as a portfolio of sample project.

Requirements:

• Experience in designing still and motion graphics in a professional, post-production environment is very important. Your portfolio of sample projects will be requested.
• Strong CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects skills and a good working knowledge of other Adobe products as it applies to designs and video post-production
• Highly organized, goal-oriented, and can drive results while multi-tasking priorities
• Strong project management, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Great communication skills to keep the team up to date on project timelines
• Ability to work independently and also as part of a team - you will work with a team of other copywriters, designers, account managers, web developers, etc.
•  Experience in social media content creation.
