Engage local payment service providers and sign on payment/KYC providers in country.
Maintain relationships with payment service providers such as DPO, Airtel, MTN etc... to ensure that service providers attend and resolve payment issues/delays for the company.
Develop and enhance sales and business development plans through market intelligence, understanding of client markets (quantitative and qualitative) and competitor analysis
Provide weekly reports on industry trends and regulatory issues in country and report to relevant stakeholders
Evaluate and investigate similar products in country and provide the team with input on how to ensure product stays competitive in market
Identify and define needs, articulating value proposition, differentiating competition and positioning for new market entry
Develop the Go To Market strategy for the respective territory
Assist stakeholders and product managers for UAT tests
Work closely with all stakeholders for successful entry into market
Analyze and study the development of the financial payment industry in the African market, investigate overseas payment channels, and be familiar with the payment habits of users in various regions of Africa, so as to form a market analysis and research report with decision-making reference;
Expand third-party payment channels, including negotiation, channel operation, performance optimization and other channel management;
Responsible for the development, maintenance and management of the company's cross-border payment channels, optimize existing payment and settlement channels, improve payment conversion rates, and reduce channel fees;
Maintain good relations with partners and maintain stable channels.
Optimistic and cheerful personality, with excellent business communication skills, good at relationship maintenance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess an HND, Bachelor's or Master's Degree
Minimum of 5 years of work experience inaccount management, business development. Experience from payment service providers such as MTN, Airtel, Paystack, Flutterwave is recommended, Familiar with major global payment channels, experience in large payment institutions in Africa is preferred. In-depth understanding of international payment, cross-border settlement, etc., strong professionalism, and experience in accessing overseas payment channels in Africa is preferred.
Strong track record and relationships with regulators, financial industries, financial technology, and Payment.
Solid understanding of enterprise credit risk decision solution, eKYC, digital lending, digital fraud prevention, AML, AI/big data and analytics modelling
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Proactive with successful track record of working in a team based environment
Independent and highly-motivated, results-driven with an ongoing curiosity for growth
Have strong learning ability and business understanding ability, good coordination ability and internal and external communication ability, and can actively promote the implementation of the project.
