Job Title: Credit Analyst

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The incumbent will evaluate customers loan applications in line with the banks credit policy.
• Identify critical  risks in credit request and provide advisory on how requests can be restructured in line with the banks risk appetite.

Major Responsibilities

• Continuously analyse and recommend improvement on credit risk management framework, processes and systems.
• Evaluating and reviewing of clients’ credit proposals for approval decision based on credibility, potential revenue and losses to maintain a good balance between returns and risk exposures.
• Prepare the credit appraisal and review forms for approval within the agreed turnaround time
• Ensure loan documentation in line with product program and credit policy of the bank and ensure that any breaches are properly authorised at the correct approving level
• Recommendation of credit proposals to Management for Approval
• Monthly rendition of credit data to credit bureau and periodic update of customer information
• Periodic review and update of Credit Policy, Credit Product Papers to facilitate efficient work flow
• Conducting credit search from an approved Credit Bureau for facilities.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years relevant work experience.
