Job Title: Senior Security Advisor - Operations

Location: Head Office, Port Harcourt, Rivers 

Tasks

• To ensure a safe and secure environment with minimal risks to company and material assets at the Port Harcourt locations through the implementation of security strategies and policies.
• Accountable for supervising security operations in the head office location i.e., service delivery through third parties (contractors and spy police formation) and direct journey management/escort provision implementation to ensure appropriate risk mitigation for company movements.
• Oversees security activities in the Lagos office
• Design and review the Security Management System to match current risk levels; consider and review all aspects of Industrial Security and propose improvements in procedures, facilities, and equipment to secure Company assets in line with industry best practice.

Main Accountabilities

• Develop and implement functional security strategies, identify processes and procedures in line with security policy and oversee attainment of set KPIs for their effective management and review.
• Lead the identification of security contracting strategies, contract management compliance.
• Develop contractor security guidelines and lead the identification of security products and services”.
• Design and implement physical and technical security solutions for the Head Office location.
• Lead functional business performance reviews, conduct periodical reviews, security risk assessment for company assets and interests in the Port Harcourt Environs as part of the security management system.
• Design and implement business assurance strategies, and act as focal point for audits and HSSE.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any of the Social Sciences or Arts at Second Class Lower Division (2:2) and above.
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-graduation work experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role in a reputable organization, preferably an Oil & Gas company.
• Relevant Professional certifications are an added advantage.
