Lorache Consulting Limited - Our client, an Agro company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: In-charge - Mechanical

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Engineering-head
Supervises: Technical assistant, technicians in Maintenance

Position Summary
Accountabilities:

• Supervise and monitor maintenance operations as per the maintenance plan
• Preparation and review of SOP’s with respect to engineering
• Coordinate with the team and implementation of SOP’s, execution of Protocol’s, collecting the data’s for preparing the Report’s.
• Ensure trainings related to Mechanical engineering operations
• Review of equipment and facility Qualification
• Review of Safety conditions and corrective / preventive actions
• Preparation of repair & maintenance budget plan.

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of breakdown and scheduled preventive maintenance as per timelines.
• Maintenance of Critical Spares and safety stock..
• Monitor and maintain records for scheduled, preventive and breakdown Mechanical maintenance.
• Review engineering related deviation and CAPA’s.
• Liaison with External agency like boiler, co2 with respect to engineering
• Supporting for the new projects as and when required from engineering point of view.
• Superior knowledge of the operating principles of equipment and machinery used in the power plant.
• Supervise work execution on site develop procedures and instruction for either maintenance, shutdown or project to ensure compliance to safety, specification, standard and procedures in order to achieve highest quality of the work.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
• Other Duties may be assigned as needed

Retirements

• BE in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical
• 7 years minimum of experience in Distillery/Sugar/Manufacturing Industries.
