Job Brief

• We are recruiting for an ambitious and energetic Business Manager to help design and implement business strategies to promote the attainment of our goal.
• (S)he will be at the front of our Lounge Business Unit. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through this role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and overseeing daily restaurant management operations.
• Motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and treat all staff matters.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals.
• Ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction and regularly review product quality.
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
• Ensure the availability of all items in the restaurant.
• Assessing and improving profitability, profit, and loss marginalization.
• Conversant with market price, manage operating costs in accordance with budgets.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations.
• Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
• Track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary
• Any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements and Skills

• B.Sc / BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Sales, or relevant field (Numeric disciplines).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Male and Female candidates
• Proven working experience at a Management level in the Hospitality industry is an added advantage.
• Proven sales track record.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in English.
• Market knowledge.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Great negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport/interpersonal skills.
• Time management and planning skills.
