Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Isheri, Lagos

Job Description

• The incumbent will oversee the organization's operations and procedures
• Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT, Sales, Admin Project Manageemnt and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
• Develops the departmental strategic plans for operations departments and ensure approval by the CEO/Management.
• Participate in expansion of investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances and creating innovative ideas geared towards the growth of the company
• Ensure strategic plans and objectives shaped at executive management levels.
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
• Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
• Reports to the MD/CEO, serves as liaison with top management and specialy works towards improving the operational systems, processes and policies in support of departmental and organizations goals; specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.

Academic qualifications

• B.Sc in Business, Commerce, Economics or related discipline (Masters in Business Administration is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 8 years of operations planning and / or general management experience with at least 2 years in a Operations Head / COO position.
