Job Brief

• We are looking for a motivated and experienced Supply Chain/Inventory Officer. to join Her team.
• As a Supply Chain/Inventory Officer, your responsibility is to source commodities and raw materials required by the business and ensure that Folixx Hospitality obtains the most favourable terms of supply, quality, service, cost, and innovation.
• You are to adhere strictly, to our company’s Supply Chain/Inventory policies, guidelines, and processes, with a view to meeting audit standards

Duties and Responsibilities

• Establishing and developing procurement framework and processes including end-2-end contract strategies through complete contracts lifecycle tracking and supplier performance management.
• Identify and develop reliable sources of supply
• Establish adequate record-keeping and issuance procedures
• Translate operating forecasts into material requirements plans and determine standard stock reorder levels.
• Ensure products and resources are assigned to the appropriate department and billed accordingly.
• Participate in negotiations for service contracts.
• Prepare Supply chain/inventory reports.
• Perform risk assessment on potential contracts and agreements.
• Develop Supply chain/inventory strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
• Respond to internal and external supply inquiries.
• Manage existing vendor and supplier relationships.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategy to optimize costs and to ensure continuity of supply of critical products and equipment
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and complete documentation to confirm stock levels and maintain proper inventory control.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to audit & compliance/ accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
• Ensure that all materials received in the store meet the approved standards and specifications given by the company (e.g., size, quality, brand, expiration date etc).
• Ensure that requisitions are placed in a timely manner with procurement in line with given re-order levels to avoid stocking out.
• Ensure compliance with given standards with regard to issuing materials.
• Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, and labelling supplies.
• Regularly review the store operation throughout the work process and at completion, including the daily “circle check” to ensure that all products are stored safely.
• Ensure proper storage and disposal of expired products in line with given standards.
• Ensure the adherence to FIFO inventory management system.
• Ensure all supplies when received are correctly and safely stored in accordance with given guidelines.
• Follow all relevant operational procedures and ensure those store activities are carried out in a consistent manner.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant course.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role.
• Experienced in the food service supply chain practices.
• Knowledge of some category areas within food and beverage.
• Analytical and negotiations skills.
• Excellent team player.
• Report writing ability.
• Negotiating skill.
