As a System and Instrumentation Field Engineer, you will be providing services that will range in scope from Plant Asset Management system commissioning and maintenance, from transducers to computer and software systems for Machinery Monitoring and Protection Systems.
As a System and Instrumentation Field Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Performing installations, commissioning and troubleshooting of Bently Nevada Hardware & Software Products and Solutions at customer locations.
Providing customers with technical direction and/or project management and timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements.
Driving customer satisfaction through commitment to quality and supporting the business growth initiatives
Assuring projects are executed in accordance with the cost allocations that are budgeted, including direct cost and labor hour management and making decisions based on business impact and technical data
Identifying problems and take the initiative to eliminate those problems for project success.
Maintaining a working and operational knowledge of all Bently Nevada hardware and software
Fuel Your Passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's Degree in a related subject or demonstrate, good, equivalent, similar work experience.
Have at least 4 years’ experience of working with controls or system instrumentation in an industrial or Energy environment.
Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs and requirements.
Have excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical information to customers in both English and any other EU language an advantage.
Show good knowledge of Networking, Hardware and Protocols
Experience in Rotating Equipment, Programmable logic controller and Distributed Control System.
Have good electronic and mechanical problem solving and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach.
Team player through and through.
Fluent in English and any other EU language an advantage.
Able to travel up to 50% with no restrictions for onshore and offshore travels.
