Job Title: Head of Operations

Location: Abuja

Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
• Agree and document all company standard operating procedures.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Monitor and report on key business activities across the teams.
• Create a funnel and pipeline of vendors, suppliers and potential partners.
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse, haulage, and logistics workforce.
• Meet cost efficiency, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Stay uptodate with compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Lookout for ways to improve the logistics process.
• Study all processes in the company and ensure efficiency.
• Document all processes and create training manuals from them.
• Work with the HR in creating standards for onboarding logistics and other officers.
• Stay updated on each departments' job function

Key Success Factors

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with at least 4 years work experience.
• Daily Order Accuracy and Disbursement Seek feedback from customers to ensure their satisfaction.
• Finding cost effective ways of managing the end to end processes and service delivery.
• Create and adhering 100% to standard operating procedures.
• Displaying calmness under pressure since the job frequently involves stressful situations.
• Negotiating skillfully to arrive at agreements that benefit the company.
• Attending to detail so that mistakes aren't made and operations thrown off course.
• Prioritizing to make sure the most pressing issues get accomplished first.
• Knowledge of Supply chain - everything involved in moving a product from supplier to customer.
• Knowledge Spreadsheets - detailed profiles of financial or production activity, often composed and edited in Microsoft Excel Knowledge on Database management software - information management tool, that assists with the storage of data for reference and analysis.

Salary
N200,000 monthly
