Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Location: Benin City, Edo

Job Description

• This role is to coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and with the desired results.
• You will be part of the go-to team for everything involving projects within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Create and design proposals and documentation required for projects.
• Create a budget (internal and external) for all projects.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track the progress.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and budget
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Attend meetings with stakeholders and gather (detailed) specific requirements for each project.
• Managing the day-to-day project activities and resources and leading project management team meetings.
• Providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues.

Qualifications

• PMP/Prince II certification (is a plus).
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar position
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in budgeting.
• Proven working experience as a project manager.
• Good in both proposal and report writing.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Attention to details.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledgeable in the use of project tracking tools.
