Job Title: IT Operations & Infrastructure Manager

Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure:
Perform capacity planning of IT Infrastructure needs of the branches. Ensure all these are budgeted for and properly executed while aligning this vision with the Country IT Manager for validation.
Guarantee the network Security and in collaboration with Security Committee & Chief Security Officer, oversee the deployment of CCTV across the network
Collaborate with Procurement on IT equipment purchases
Own branch opening process and ensure all branches are opened timely following the Branch
Standard and other local guiding principles while relating the resources need with the Country IT Manager for validations.
In collaboration with the Group counterparts and Regional IT Support Officers, ensure that Firewalls, Hardware and Network equipment are properly configured.
Ensure all monitoring tools are populated with the correct configuration items/information (such as IP Addresses of branch network devices, Cameras, Business Applications) and give accurate report.
Ensure there is network design and implementation is done in accordance with Standard for both existing & new offices. Maintain records of all network topology for all IT solutions/network company-wide
Update inventories relating to the computer network and system and ensure integrity, confidential and availability of Company resources.
Keep all Windows devices updated, managed and reported. (No windows updates older than 10 days, No antivirus updates older than 3 days, 100% of PCs under management and valid licenses).
Ensure mobile devices are reported on MDM.
Regional IT Support:
Provide 2nd level supports for all day to day support for all IT operation activities across all
Regions in the Country and escalations from IT Service Mgmt team.
Oversee the Regional IT Support Officers and ensure all anomalies are resolved within 48 hours with walk around for business continuity. No ticket should remain unattended to within 4 business hours.
Daily/weekly report should be shared with the Country IT Manager to ensure proper Management consideration is required where required.
Oversee IT infra such as Printers, Scanners, Inverter
Ensure the branch Infrastructure maintenance programme is carried out without fail.
Applications Management:
Ensure users are setup on different IT platforms such as Gsuite, Credit Bureau Platform e.t.c.
Submission of Credit bureau records to the bureaus must be correct and timely
Network Administration:
Oversee the Internet Service implementation & Stability across the network
Manage Shared folder platform rights & privileges and Users.
Develop Identity Management Process and ensures accurate implementation of User Account management within 48 hours (e.g. Gsuite, Global Connect, Sage, Centreon e.t.c.) with records kept properly.
Implement a functional Network Operating Center in each region and use Cisco Meraki, Thousandseye, Optitune and Team viewer to manage business apps, network and security alerts with high priority before users start to complain.
Maintain and manage Servers e.g. SAGE and keep records of all Software Licenses (installed version, dates of installation, dates of changes made) and engage the Group Infra team where required.
Education / Experience
University Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Electronics or equivalent.
Good knowledge of SAGE Application and Core Banking System e.g. T24
At least 4 years’ experience in system and network administration, maintenance or equivalent
Microsoft MCSE certificate (desired)
UEWA/CWNA knowledge or certificate.
Required Skills:
Good knowledge of Windows OS, Sage, databases and networks (LAN, WAN) and Reporting
