We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Officer (Mid Level)

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Undertakes all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.
• Collates and consolidate trial balance and financial reports from all locations.
• Ensures strategic payments to clients and vendors and maintain up to date accruals or payable records.
• Ensures proper capturing of financial and day-to-day transactions.
• Works with Finance Manager to ensure that all budgets are prepared adequately and within established time frame.
• Supports development of internal control policies and procedures.
• Prepares stock account reconciliation after stock taking exercises.
• Supports the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Execute preparation of departmental budgets.
• Analyzes income and expenses, reconcile accounts, file regulatory reports, provide information to auditors and issue data used in Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings and annual reports.
• Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Ensures development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Co-manages the company’s payroll system with the HR & Admin Unit.
• Assists in ensuring adequate controls are in place to facilitate seamless payment system.
• Provides technical training, guidance and advise on financial accounting issues, developments and trends.
• Manages compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Supports month-end and year-end close financial reporting process.
• Implements the research of technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Assists the Finance Manager with the preparation of monthly management accounts including review and reconciliations and also perform other statutory accounts or audit processes.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree qualification with 2 - 3 years work experience.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
