Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Brief

• Operation managers lead, monitor, and analyze the daily operations of the salon establishment under their care. They are responsible for sustaining a healthy, positive team environment, and ensuring that service operations are delivered smoothly. Salon managers also handle employee scheduling to ensure there are enough service providers to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities

• To manage the day-to-day running of the Hair and Beauty Salons and Reception Area
• Carry out knowledge-sharing sessions with all members of staff
• Maintain and constantly review clients' service standard
• Ensure prompt customer solutions to client
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the salon
• Review manpower to ensure targets are met
• Be responsible for costing, ordering, and keeping inventory of stock of the salon
• Perform duties in accordance to the policies and procedures of the salon
• Innovate ways to sell products and improve the business
• Implement and improve systems, processes and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability.
• Prepare reports as and when required by the CEO
• To ensure that all equipment is in safe working order at all times
• Attend and contribute to the departmental meetings
• Support the growth of team members by setting and tracking goals
• Undertake your duties so as to comply with the requirement of health and safety standards
• Be analytical and have a deep understanding of business and financial principles

Requirements

• A secondary degree or equivalent experience in management or administration.
• Time management skills.
• Extensive experience providing salon services to clients.
• Advanced organizational skills to manage salon operations.
• Attention to details.
• Excellent communication and team-leading skills.
• Detailed knowledge of the beauty industry and customer needs
• Interest and ability to continue learning about market standards and changes in trends.
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time and move quickly to accomplish many tasks.
