Job Description & Summary

• A career in our Software Engineering practice, within Innovation Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients' redesign, redefine, and redeploy their assurance and/or tax departments to be a strategic asset across the enterprise.
• You'll focus on assisting clients as they incorporate increased automation, machine learning, data & analytics, Open Source technologies into their processes to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organisational decision making.
• Our team focuses on working closely with other developers to build new features, fix bugs, and assist in testing across multiple capabilities while learning and exploring new technologies.
• You'll focus on supporting the development of user web applications written in the latest Javascript technologies, experimenting with big data tools and open source technologies, and researching third party technologies.
• As a Senior Associate, You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the design, development, and management of AR/VR software solutions. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
  • Design, Develop and maintain AR/VR software solutions.
  • Collaborate with a team of XR engineers, designers, and artists in an agile environment to deliver large and complex features on time and to a high standard
  • Drive improvements for the development process and evaluate technical feasibility through rapid prototyping.
  • Analyze, evaluate, integrate, debug and test real-time AR and VR software for advanced prototypes and user experiences
  • Participating in project planning and team code reviews
  • Keeping up with the latest trends and advancements in AR and VR
  • Working in a small project-oriented development team to create customised Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) experiences for enterprise use cases (engineering, biomedical, marketing, training, etc).

Requirements and Preferences

• 5+ years of progressive roles in AR/VR Software Engineering
• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. However, knowledge in Information Technology is highly desirable.

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable
• you to work as a team player, rather than just as an individual.
• Game development experience is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to
• liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
