Moyosola Olalekan Outsorcing Services - Our client is a female fashion topnotch factory that offers assistance with sketches, illustrations, patterns and grading, samples, tech packs, design, fabric and trim sourcing, and production including cutting & bundling as well as cut & sew production based in Lekki Lagos.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fashion Production Manager (Expatriate)

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

• The Fashion Production Manager (Expatriate) will be responsible for ensuring production runs smoothly. Planning, coordinating and controlling the manufacturing processes to deliver excellent quality garments, to meet production timelines. Sewing of garments in the fashion house to suit the desired need and order.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

• Create designs and sketches and sew and monitor sewing on the factory floor.
• Ensure that all the production targets are met.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies for seamless operations.
• Manage and evaluate resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
• Direct all the production processes, and motivate staff involved.
• Prepare production calendar and assign tasks to tailors, pattern maker, embellishers and finishers
• Handle quality control and quality checks; Examine the finished product carefully, look for flaws in them and ensure that flaws detected are rectified.
• Make certain that finished clothing are properly labeled and packaged according to company standard.
• Inspect all production requirements for garments and ready-to-wear outfits
• Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising on integrity
• Make sure that factory machinery is in good working order.
• Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
• Ensure that the safety standards are being maintained within the factory and that team members are abiding by workplace safety rules.
• Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors, and shapes

Qualifications

• An expatriate with good knowledge of the female fashion industry and good sewing skill is a must.

Experience:

• 5-10 years experience in the female fashion industry.

Skills and Requirements:

• Excellent abilities in sewing and making garments for females.
• Good knowledge of the female fashion industry.
• Attention to detail, and having an eye to spot errors.
• Excellent drive and attitude to work and be able to motivate a team.
• Ability to set goals and achieve set targets with excellent people management skills.
• Outstanding of good time management.
