LifeBank is a healthcare technology and logistics company that’s in the business of saving lives. We believe that no African should die from a shortage of essential medical products at the hospital level, and we are on a mission to solve this. LifeBank is currently working on the blood shortage problem in Nigeria by connecting hospitals to blood banks, and blood banks to donors. We do this by hosting blood drives and by delivering blood in less than 55 minutes, in a WHO and EU recommended cold-chain, to hospitals.

Job Title: Finance Representative

Location: Lafia, Nasarawa

Job Description
Function of the Role:

• The finance representative is responsible for maintaining the financial and accounting function. He or she will be tasked with maintaining cash controls, Prepayment & Accruals, Managing the company’s operating expenses.

Key Responsibilities

• Petty cash management
• Ensure weekly deposit of all cash transactions from all cities
• Ensure bank reconciliations are performed on a weekly basis
• Responsible for filling of all cities sales and payables transactions invoices
• Verify accuracy of all issued transaction invoices
• Responsible for invoicing clients at the end of each month
• Responsible for all Payroll compliance related tasks , staff hmo and asset insurance.
• Filing of all relevant company documents
• Work on other tasks as assigned by team lead

Work Environment:

• Work in the office
• Work with computers
• Will be required to write reports
• Would be required to handle cash

Reporting Relationships:

• Will report to the Finance Lead

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• BSc / HND in Accounting or other related disciplines.

Experience:

• 1-2 years experience in a similar role
