Job Description

• We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team as a Technical Product Manager.
• The role will be focusing on designing, building, and scaling secure and reliable dApps on the blockchain.
• This is a full-time position that can be remote from any location and timezone in Africa.

Responsibilities

• Define, scope and prioritize overall product strategy and plan roadmaps to increase long-term competitiveness.
• Lead and provide guidance to other product & engineering teams to deliver new features and updates.
• Lead core product innovations from research, development to deployment and marketing, including conducting market research, technical solution research, writing detailed product documentation, collaborating with designers and engineers during sprints, sprint planning, and delivery of the product.
• Engage users periodically to uncover insights and feed that back into the development process.
• Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders like the Customer success, legal, compliance, data science, risk team to ensure a feedback loop is in place and everyone is carried along.
• Owning key metrics alongside relevant stakeholders to meet the company's broad goals.
• Working closely with key management on overall strategy as well as execution of key development or growth initiatives for the company.

Requirements

• Experience working with both user facing products (B2C) and API based products (B2B)
• 5+ years of experience as a product manager, at least 1 year at a crypto company
• Deep business and technical understanding on market trends in cryptocurrencies and DeFi
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working in an agile environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills and an overall can-do attitude.
• Thorough understanding of how DeFi protocols work and interest in the space.
• Ability to work autonomously and make technical decisions independently
• Good organization skills and ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders and users alike.
• Prioritization skills and ability to balance delivery of new features and maintenance of existing products.
