Job Description

• We are looking for excellent Android Developers to work on a variety of projects in developing very slim, fast and high-performance mobile applications.
• Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services.
• In this exciting role, you will be part of a talented Android team of software engineers and UI/UX designers to deliver mobile applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and build the Android app for our product teams
• Make technology and design decisions to deliver a fast, secure and usable app
• Work with the server team to define needs and APIs that will provide the best user experience
• Create beautiful UI and intuitive UX that will delight users
• Ideal candidates will be innovative and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be comfortable working with deadlines and have a passion to keep enhancing your skills.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and work experience.
• Experience designing and delivering Android apps that are performant, reliable and secure
• Experience with the Android Framework - Java, Kotlin, and Reactive programming
• Experience with the build and release processes in an agile environment
• Strong knowledge of Flutter, Android SDK, different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications and understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and ability to interact with external APIs and familiarity with continuous integration and good understanding of mobile application security.
