Job Title: Risk Management Analyst

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the NPL ratio of the company does not exceed limit set by Executive Mgt.
• Review and disbursement of the company.
• Proper documentation and filling of security document.
• Reviewing /analyzing approvals to ensure that same is in consonance with company’s credit policy and if signed off by appropriate officers according to their approval limits.
• Regular review of all limits maintained on the system.
• Pay visits to customer’s factories, warehouse etc. to confirm information requirement as appropriate.
• Model credit behavior for categories of customers with aim of predicting future portfolio position.
• Forecast portfolio-wide credit losses based on historical credit data and contemporary credit issues.
• Institute systems and processes to facilitate dynamic portfolio management.
• Institute systems and processes to facilitate portfolio risk-reward optimization.
• Work closely with legal to ensure precedents for facility documentation are in line with best practice.
• Put in place measure to monitor and minimize losses arising from the dealers portfolio.
• Ensure judicious use of credit limit.
• Perform other functions as delegated by the Group Head, Risk Management.

Requirements

• A good First Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years post qualification experience in risk management within the Financial Services Industry, of which at least 3 must have been in the Banking Sector.
• M.Sc.
• Recognized professional certification such as CFA, CIS, ACCA, ACA, CFP, IT Certifications, etc.
