Job Title: Site Worker

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., be prepared to commute to other locations when required (expense covered).

Description 

• Our client is looking to hire a Site Worker responsible for ensuring the construction project is completed on time and within budget.
• The ideal candidate should be intelligent, proactive, and a great team player. Someone with an engineering background is preferred, ready to work additional hours when required.
• Clients' projects can last up to 30 days, and the candidate must be agile to finish the project successfully. Based on the project profitability margins, candidates can earn more as additional payment is subject to the kind of contract handled.

Job Responsibilities

• Available to run errands.
• Attend internal and external meetings.
• Prepare invoices and project bids.
• Package and deliver documents.
• Design graphics for various projects.
• Handle correspondence.
• Supervise and follow up on the direction of the project.
• Meet clients' specifications and requirements.
• Review progress and liaise with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
• Record activities on the work site.
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers.
• Organize, manage and document work tools and materials such as fibre cables, bags of cement, e.t.c.
• Ensure the site safety, site inspection safety and construction safety.
• Efficiently prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
• Willingness to learn under a supervisor.

Job Requirements

• BSc in Engineering or its equivalent.
• 1 year work experience.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• In-depth knowledge in the use of graphic design tools such as AUTOCAD.

Salary
N70,000 monthly.
