Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Internal Control Officer to join our team.
• As an Internal Control Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the company's internal control systems are effective in mitigating business risks and enhancing the integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal control policies, procedures, and guidelines that support the company's overall objectives
• Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of existing controls and identify areas for improvement
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations, and ensure that all employees are aware of and adhering to them
• Identify and report any control deficiencies or non-compliance issues to management and work with them to develop remediation plans
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that internal control requirements are embedded in their processes
• Perform ad-hoc projects and investigations as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of internal control principles and practices, as well as risk assessment methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Relevant certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) would be an advantage.
