Audience Engagement and Social Media Manager at Prime Progress Media

Prime Progress is a solutions-focused media outlet documenting how people are solving social problems in Nigeria. We also investigate repressive cultural, religious and societal practices that hold people down and prevent them from fulfilling their dreams and becoming healthier and happier. We produce deep analyses of social issues and help the audience understand the news behind the news.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Audience Engagement and Social Media Manager

Location: Asokoro, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role

• Handle all social media activities, including posting published articles to social media, creating and posting content that could elicit reactions and engagement s on social media throughout active work hours, engaging with the social media followers and responding to their comments and replies.
• Manage our Telegram and Whatsapp groups and cultivate our social media followers to join the group, which is our first-hand audience group.
• Handle our Google Analytics account, provide weekly reports about the traffic situation and suggest improvement approaches.
• Send daily newsletters to subscribers.
• Work with the graphics designer and editors to produce appealing designs for social media postings and engagements.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / BA / BSc / HND / MA qualification
• Must have at least three years of experience as an audience engagement and social media manager.
• Must have a solid ability to create and distribute email newsletters
• Must have a good understanding of how Google Analytics, including Analytics 4, works.
• Must be comfortable engaging on social media and leading brand visibility efforts across all our social media platforms.
• Must have completed at least first degree and NYSC service.

Pay
It's full-time and onsite work, and the pay is between N100,000 and N150,000.
