We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrician Troubleshooter (Automotive Diagnostic Specialist)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Reports To: Operation Supervisor/Operation Manager

Job Summary & Purpose

• Auto electricians specialize in installing and maintaining electrical systems contained in automotive vehicles. Auto electricians mainly work for auto service centres where they install, inspect, repair, and maintain all the electrical parts contained in a vehicle.

Job Responsibilities

• Determining faults in an electric circuit by analyzing the behaviour and operation of the faulty circuit
• Verify Full System Functionality and Implement Preventive Measures
• Understand the malfunction.
• Identify which parameters needed to be evaluated.
• Identify the source of the problem.
• Correct/repair the components.
• Verify the repair.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• High resistance connection test results.
• Knowledge in vehicle electrical systems – Petrol & Diesel Engines
• Ability to read scanner and understand codes
• Ability to understand an electrical map for quick repair of the vehicle
• Willing to learn and attend training
• All other basic electrical processes for any automotive electrician.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
• 2 - 5 years in similar role

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Good knowledge of the Business, Electrical functions.
• Proficiency in the use of electrical tools
• Knowledge of Project Management
• Like figures and Analytical
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of the current business climate and industry trends.
