Fastest Cakes is a large cake logistics company primarily based in Lagos with 5 active production facilities. Its vision is to deliver excellent and affordable cakes very fast. With over 75 full-time staff, it's looking to expand its talent base to bring in high-quality professionals to grow its operations. The company has delivered well over 60,000 cakes in under 3 years.

Job Description
We are seeking a head of finance to help us grow profitably, create and implement financial policies, supervise the accounts department, and provide financial advisory to our executive directors.

• Supervise the accounting to ensure accurate financial records are kept.
• Supervise the use of accounting software like Quickbooks by the accounts team.
• Analyze financial data including profits and costs.
• Calculate the cost per unit of production, marketing, and delivery and sustain these at optimum levels.
• Create detailed financial plans on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Create, defend, and implement financial budgets to ensure profitability.
• Leadmonthly financial reporting, planning,and budget meetings.
• Supervise the company's charity policy and ensure it's impactful.
• Lead the company's relationship with banks and other financial houses.
• Develop a strategic investment policy and implement it.
• Come up with a sustainable petty cash policy and block cash leaks.
• Conducting risk management.

Requirements

• First Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, or a similar financial field
• Postgraduate in Finance Certifications like CFA.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a finance analyst or senior finance role.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of Quickbooks or similar accounting software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel or Google sheets.
• Should reside near Ikeja.
• Should be willing to work 23 days a month.
• Should be able to work on some weekends and public holidays
• Should be agile, smart, and deeply analytical
