Job Description

• We are looking for a skilled video editor to create and upload weekly compilation videos for our three YouTube channels.
• The ideal candidate will have experience editing short video clips and the ability to work under tight deadlines. He/She will be based in Port-Harcourt.

Responsibilities

• Edit short video clips into engaging compilation videos for our three YouTube channels.
• Ensure that each video aligns with our brand values and target audience.
• Work closely with our content creators to ensure that the video content is aligned with our editorial calendar.
• Add transitions, music, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance the video content.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that our video content is fresh and innovative.
• Manage the production workflow for each video project, including organizing footage and adding captions or subtitles as needed or if necessary.
• Collaborate with our social media team to promote video content on various platforms.
• Monitor the performance of our videos on YouTube and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Ensure that all videos are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintain a high level of quality control throughout the video production process.

Requirements

• Highest degree: SSCE / NECO.
• At least 2 years of experience in video editing and production.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other editing software.
• Experience with motion graphics and visual effects.
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to create engaging video content.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with YouTube and social media platforms.
• Portfolio of previous video editing work showcasing short-form video content.

Salary
N20,000 - N30,000 monthly
