The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers' Consultative: Association (NECA), in collaboration with the ITF-ISTC, Ikeja invite applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potentials to undertake a 4-month intensive training programme.

Title: Technical and Vocational Skills Training

Location: Lagos
Duration: 4 months

Programme Description
We invite applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potentials to undertake a 4-month intensive training in the following trade areas:

• Electrical / Electronic Maintenance
• Mechanical Maintenance and Machining
• Automobile / Autotronics Works
• Instrumentation and Process Control
• Welding and Metal Fabrication Works
• Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Works
• Information and Communication Technology

Objectives

• This programme is aimed at training and equipping youths with employable and entrepreneurial skills in the trade areas mentioned above. It is also designed to promote Public-Private partnership in Vocational and Technical Skills Training,

The Programme

• Successful candidates will enjoy FREE tuition, lunch and monthly stipend. The programme is non-residential.
• Candidates will therefore be responsible for their accommodation throughout the duration of the programme.

Requirements
Applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 35 years and required to possess any one of the qualifications: 

• Senior Secondary School Certificate
• National Technical Certificate in any of the above trade areas National Diploma Certificate
• Higher National Diploma or B.Sc.

Entrance Examination
Candidates are expected to write an entry test. All shortlisted candidates Will be required to come with the originals of their certificates and means of identification to the venue of test and interview:

• Test Date: Wednesday 29th March, 2023
• Interview Date: Thursday 30th March, 2023
