God’s City International Church is a multicultural church inaugurated on the 1st of May 2016 under the leadership of Pastor Matthew and Pastor Mrs. Mary Morakinyo with an assignment to preach the gospel and with the help of the Holy Spirit, deliver people from sin, sickness, power of darkness, poverty, restoration of destiny and nurture them to be a mobile fire to also carry out the same assignment.

Position Overview

• We are seeking a Driver, who will drive people around in an efficient, safe, and timely manner. In addition to maintaining regular cleaning and servicing of their vehicles, the driver will also plan routes based on road conditions and administrative directives.

Responsibilities
The common duties and responsibilities for driver’s includes but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure the safety and comfort of the person or persons he/she is assigned to by providing efficient driving services.
• Treat all passengers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
• Efficiently map out routes based on weather, traffic, and road conditions.
• Pick up clients, guests, cargo and any other person, persons or group of people and convey to the appropriate destination(s) as assigned by line managers.
• Always fulfil administrative needs (like office pick-up).
• Kindly assists passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Operate vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper scheduling and facilitation of vehicle servicing.
• Ensure proper scheduling and facilitation of vehicle servicing.
• Report challenges, safety situations, vehicle condition or damage in a timely manner.
• Properly inspects the vehicle at the beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior lighting, air conditioning, fluid levels, tire pressure, mirror adjustment, windshield wipers, etc. prior to driving the vehicle.
• Accurately completes drivers trip sheet for each shift with information including drivers’ number, vehicle number, number of passengers, pick-up and drop-off times, mileage, destinations etc.
• Ensure that the vehicle(s) is/are always cleaned.
• Perform confidential tasks and special projects as needed.
• Perform other related duties and assist with other task and projects assigned by The Senior Pastor.

Requirements

• Born-again Christian and hard working.
• Tertiary education will be an added advantage.
• Fully participate in the life of the church as an active member of the Ministry
• 5-10 years of verifiable experience in a similar role or capacity
• Work experience in a church or non-profit will be an added advantage.
• Communicate effectively with warmth, openness, and approachability.
• Demonstrate a natural awareness about the effective organization of space; possess a natural orientation towards cleanliness and orderliness of space.
• Performs tasks with an appropriate level of confidentiality.
• Integrity, trust, and spiritual awareness
• Flexible hours for availability (including evenings and weekends)
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Ability work with a diversity of people is essential
