We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chinese Interpreter / Translator

Location: Okoolowo, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The translator will be responsible for the accurate translation of documents and emails, as well as attending meetings in which live translations are needed.
• Translate from Chinese to English Language and vice versa).

Job Description

• Provide accurate translations of texts.
• Provide Oral and Written translation in a timely and efficient manner,
• Attend meetings to translate discussions, bridges the communication gap and ensure the smooth running of business daily.
• Organizing and Scheduling Appointments
• Planning meetings and taking detailed minutes.
• Making travel arrangements
• Preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filling system.
• Answers and route phone calls
• Write and distribute email correspondence, memo, letters and forms as may be directed.
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure that translations are true to the original meaning.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: HND / B.Sc in Social Sciences.
• Minimum of HSK 5 Certificate is preferable.
• Experience Length: 3 years.
• Must be fluent in at least two languages. (Chinese, English, etc.) Any other language will be an added advantage.
• Proof of language fluency.
• Must have prior experience doing translations.
• Strong sense of responsibility and meticulous.
• Have good communication skills, adaptability and he/she is able to work under pressure.
