Job Title: Banking Associate

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • This is an opportunity for graduates with 6 months - 3 years of experience in the Banking sector to begin a lucrative career in a tier 1 bank in Nigeria.
  • The Banking Associate will be expected to gain the necessary knowledge and experience to function in a management position under the supervision of experienced banking personnel.
  • He or she is also responsible for the in-house management of clients'accounts, collaborating with managers, accepting delegated responsibilities and duties, and aspiring to become an experienced professional through thorough on-the-job learning.

Responsibilities

  • To learn about line and staff functions, operations, management perspectives, and company policies and practices affecting each phase of the business.
  • To receive training and perform duties in Finance, Client Services, Sales, Operations, and IT Solutions.
  • Sets performance goals and objectives in collaboration with upper management.
  • Monitors performance progress in collaboration with management and key trainers.
  • Observes experienced workers to learn the methods, procedures, and standards needed to perform departmental duties.
  • Receives training in the functions and operations of related departments in order to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide more opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Banking or Business Administration from a recognized Nigerian university.
  • Must have completed the 1-year mandatory NYSC scheme
  • Minimum of 2:2 (Second Class Lower)
  • Must be a resident of Abuja
  • Must have graduated within the last 3-4 years
  • Must have had basic Banking experience of at least 6 months.

Requirements:

  • Must possess exceptional people management skills.
  • Be analytical-minded and be a fast learner.
  • Must be technology savvy, and proficient in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Be confident and possess leadership skills.
  • Must be hardworking, diligent, and trustworthy.
  • Must be ready to be part of a team and work with a team to meet tight schedules.
  • Must be able to handle demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company.

Salary
N100,000 / month.
