Job Title: Security Risk Operations and Intelligence Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Key Responsibilities
The Risk, Operations, and Intelligence Manager will support BEACON’s Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM), Intelligence and Training functions by doing the following but not limited to:
Manage field operations and regularly communicate with affiliate and recruiter partners to maintain continual awareness of exposures and potential threats.
Serve as a subject matter expert, advisor, and consultant to affiliates, clients, and partners.
Define and manage the implementation of the company’s proactive risk management and post-incident procedures, including the client activation process.
Oversee the company’s internal risk management activities, help control loss and recommend effective and efficient ESRM and Intelligence solutions.
Supervise and support the effective and efficient communication and dissemination of relevant intelligence to key stakeholders within and outside the organization.
Continuously evaluate and improve ESRM processes and procedures.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the organization, including managing personnel, coordinating processes and procedures, and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure that the company has a positive performance-based relationship with third-party vendors that offer the company the best possible ROI overall.
Develop and present training and educational programs related to the business sectors being served to build knowledge of ESRM and Intelligence principles and an understanding of the related costs amongst affiliates.
Ensure adequate risk coverage is in place across all operating sectors and geographies of the company and clients.
Lead all risk due diligence and integration of acquisitions into the company’s and clients’ ESRM platforms.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the reliable identification of the company’s and clients’ exposures, defining risk and exposure limits, developing and implementing appropriate controls, and ensuring adequate ESRM and Intelligence across all field operations.
The Risk, Operations and Intelligence Manager oversees ESRM, Intelligence and Training delivery and maintains positive relationships with our affiliate partners (i.e., clients) to promote risk management concepts and loss prevention efforts and achieve resilience.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Security and Defence Studies, Enterprise Security Risk Management, or any related field
Master's Degree in Enterprise Security Risk Management or related fields
Certification in Security Operations, Intelligence, or any other related fields
5 - 7 years of pertinent professional risk operations and intelligence experience in a large employer organization, with at least 1 year in a management role.
An MBA or related qualification is an advantage.
Solid knowledge of and experience with multi-state disability and workers’ compensation plans and regulations
Experience in professional/general ESRM implementation, Intelligence management and Training facilitation
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills; initiative and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Solid grasp of mathematics, financial principles and complex spreadsheets
Understanding of the administration of state unemployment insurance taxes is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership skills and ability to organize/motivate others
Strong quantitative, project management, and resource management skills
Strong computer skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and promptly research/resolve issues.
