Matrix Energy Group is a rapidly growing indigenous and integrated Oil Marketing and Trading Company in Nigeria, which was incorporated November 25, 2004. Over the years, Matrix Energy has grown from a modest supply and distributions operation to a fully integrated petroleum products marketing and trading company with clients and suppliers all over the world.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Recruitment, Onboarding & Employee Relations Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Recruitment, Onboarding & Employee Relations Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, onboarding new employees, and providing ongoing support to ensure a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various levels and functions
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and create job descriptions
  • Utilize various recruitment tools and techniques to identify and attract passive candidates
  • Conduct pre-employment screenings, including reference checks and background checks
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure new employees are integrated into the company culture and job responsibilities
  • Coordinate orientation sessions and ensure new employees receive all necessary information and training
  • Provide ongoing support to employees to ensure a positive employee experience, including addressing employee concerns and providing guidance on company policies and procedures
  • Conduct employee investigations and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Advise managers on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary action, and termination
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND, Bachelor's or Master's Degree
  • Professional certificate such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 6 to 7 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

Salary
N700,000 / Month.
