Business Manager at Katsina Golf Club (KTGC)

Katsina Golf Club (KTGC) is a private sport organisation aimed at promoting game of golf and managing its activities in Katsina State. The club established in 1998 and registered as a member of Nigerian Golf Federation (NGF) and CAC.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Manager

Job Description
The Business Manager as a professional employee shall perform the following duties:

• Internal administration and management of all Club employees.
• Handling correspondence with Nigeria Golf Federation and other golf clubs in Nigeria.
• Handling correspondence between Katsina Golf Club, Government agencies, NGO’s and its bankers.
• Keeping the Club Accounts up to date.
• Organize payment of salaries to workers and to contractors whenever they are engaged to deliver services to the club.
• Ensuring the prompt collection of annual dues from registered members of Katsina golf club.
• Keeping an “Assets Register” of all Club properties and Ensuring the register is updated regularly.
• Marketing, advertising and renting the Club House for social gathering especially over weekends when competition is not going on And also renting the Club conference facilities to interested parties.
• Developing strategies for income flow for the sustainability of the club.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and business relationship with clients and members
• Prepare reports and brief the management at regular intervals
• Undertaking any assignment given by the Club Executive Committee.

Qualifications and Skills

• A University graduate or HND holder preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Economics and Accounting.
• Must be computer literate and be conversant with modern accounting and business software.
• Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
• Ability to attract activities that would generate money for the club.
• Ability to maintain discipline among club workers.
• Be a person of reputable standard and have no record of crime convictions and free from smoking and drug abuse.
• Candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Membership of professional bodies and previous working experience in related environment and knowledge of game of golf would be an added advantage.

Salary and Condition of Service
Negotiable.
